Major Beat: I Suck at Halo 3

So I have the Halo 3. I am usually very expert at video games. But in the Halo I have like a 6 skill online and get owned by other players of similar skill levels, including whiny voiced kids -- they tilt me so much.

I find doing something that I'm not instantly great at usually isn't worthwhile, so what should I do?

If one of you is a master level player I may trade poker coaching for Halo coaching.
