It was a nice +EV bet considering Townsend knows Alioto's history at final tables and the big mistakes he has made. Luck can make up for a lot in PLO however.

I just wonder if he slowrolled anyone this time as he is known for this more than anything.

You must be a PLO guru to say that I use to make many mistakes on final tables, I came close to give a shot to my last attempt just taking the chances benginning with the shortest stack... This time I wonder anybody can say anything wrong about who deserved to win It. That's all.

I would say crossbooking 100% of BG's action is a very -ev bet considering BG is easily one of the best tournament players in the world and Townsend really does'nt have anywhere near the results or experience in tourneys as the Bear.
