raise more preflop (a pot-sized raise would be to $7.25).

make a real bet on the flop ($8-$11).

same with the turn; if you're going to bet, bet at least half the pot. your $4 bet accomplishes little.

as played, i don't fold this river. 1. you played the hand kind of weird, so you disguised its strength. 2. as you said, pot odds. 3. there's no reason he should have a 6.
