Default The Crock Pot

OK...So being that I am old now (40) I get gifts like a Crock Pot for Chrsitmas. Decided to open it last weekend and check it out. Then I went online and started looking for recipes. Made my 1st chili...came out ok. Tried again this past weekend...even better! (w/chips & shredded cheese). Then for Sunday I ran down to the grocery store and bought 2 boneless pork roast (about $4.25 each) and threw them in there for 8+ hrs on low. Sooooooo goooood! Pulled pork sandiwches w/bbq sauce on little hamburger rolls! WOW!
I know it sounds lame and I cant believe I am ranting about a pot (that u cook in) but I am a fan of the crock pot. Great for football weekends. Anyone else? Any recipes/suggestions?
Ok...sorry back to japanese porn stars.

My wife makes a mean beef stew in our crock pot. I don't have a recipe, but it has potatoes, carrots, celery and beef along with some other deliciousness I am not thinking of.

I had family visiting for the holidays and used this beef stew recipe except I used more wine and cut back a little on the water.

Good stuff. Make sure you have some good bread to go with it.

I can't specifically site a recipe, but I know that doing a nice corned beef in the crock pot yields pretty good results. You can add cubed potatoes and cabbage for the last couple hours and have a meal of it. St. Patrick's Day is only two months away.

I think my favorite thing to do w/ my crock pot is lasagna. It sounds weird, but it works pretty well.

1 10oz. bottle of Soy Sauce
1 1/2 cups of brown sugar ( I use light brown sugar)
1 teaspoon of ginger
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
2 tablespoons of wocsterschire sauce

1 package of chicken (i use the wingettes because they're already cut in half)

you can either cook it on low for eight hours or on high for 4 hours

and usually I would marinate the wings for like 2 days before I cook them
