The room is really nice. I was impressed. It's a bit loud up towards the front, but in the back it's quiet. They may add a clear glass and a glass door to enclose the place, but who knows if/when that will happen. The lighting is a bit weird, but I got used to it. They have classical type music playing in the background, so it almost feels like a romantic dinner I guess. It also kind of feels like playing in a home game too. The TV's might be hard to see, but all in all they did a really nice job. It's not like any other poker room I've played in and it was a big step up from the other room and probably 100x better than Greektown. It seems well ventilated and I never had a problem w/ smelling smoke in the room. I think you'll like it. Now I look forward to playing there. The only problem is that the $5-10nl game has been pretty bad the last couple days and they've had a must move going all week....actually it's been a tight game most of the week.

Clear glass would be key. I don't know what the access is like to the rest of the casino (i know its down in the basement), but one of my gripes with the old room was how closed off it was from the rest of the casino. Good to know though; I'll probably head down after noon sometime. Thanks for the info.

Oh P.S.

If anyone will be there and wants to say sup bro, drop me a PM or look for the vaugly arab looking kid at 10/20 limit.

Not tonight. I'll be there tomorrow though unless something unforseen happens. Also they don't let you use ipods. Sorry Bra.

what a zoo last night. i finally left due to the long lines. i like the look and location, i just wished they set it up for more tables. Thurs-Sun they will fill them and during the week they have tourneys..so even when they are not full..cant cost that much. otter...nice full house with 5-4 when your neighbor flopped nut flush...i will try again after the initial influx of people...........

Ah yes, the 4c5c. Thanks. He was kind to check the flop and the turn :-).

Hopefully it won't be like this all the time. I was there today and had to wait only about an hour and a half to get on the $300. Luckily they had 3 going. For some reason they had a $3-6 AND a $5-10 last night...seems kind of silly.

I'm not sure if they will have tourneys or not during the week. They have been full all the time. I wish they'd open some tables upstairs in the old poker room. Perhaps open it up to e-tables, $3-6 and $5-10.

how many tables do they have there now?

I'll be back in MI on June 26th, so save up your monies so I can have some. It's going to be an ILP, HIP, 10-20 massacre.
