Oct. '04: Depositited $20 on prima busted playing $10nl. Deposited another $20 played more $10nl, ran well... and well... $100k later here I am.

The first time I turned 23.99 into 13,000...lost a lot of this and cashed out for like 6gs thinking I'm done for good.

Then my friend gave me like 200.00 to play with...turned that into 3gs...stopped playing thinking I'm done for good.

Then I turned 300 into 3.5 gs...tilted a ton of that thinking I'd stop for good.

But no...then my friend put 100.00 in my account. And I turned that into 24 gs in three months starting at NL25. Booya grandma.

The biggest reason for my success is the fact that I never tilt. You'd be surprised how much you lose to tilting each week. Oh also, I started to keep records...I think I might make a post on this in SSNL tomorrow if I'm not too lazy. It's really important.

Put $600 into FT and started grinding at 25NL. Did 25NL -> 50NL -> 100NL -> 200NL in 18k hands. 200NL -> 100NL in 3k, and 100NL -> 200NL again in 15k. [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img] I'm close to the point where I could take some shots at 400NL but I think I'll stay where I am for a while.

.25/.50 on party with 100 bucks. Got that up to 7k in a month or 2 and then dropped it at 15/30 limit. So I restarted with 300 bucks and haven't been busto since.

50 --> 2k(mainly SNG's and MTT's)
200 --> 5k (one big MTT win and some cash games)
200 ---> 4k (cash games and one other big MTT win) --> 11k (biggest MTT win) --> 4k (cashed out) --> 0 (tilt) --> 200 --> 1k --> 0 --> 200 --> 4k --> 0 --> 400 --> 4k

you get the idea?

Started with a free $15 offer on a prima skin. Got really lucky playing $10PL and ran it up to about $100 not knowing much at all about poker. Started reading and began grinding at 0.10/0.20 LHE (ugh) -> cashed $100 or so in a freeroll -> discover NL and start playing NL10 -> NL20 -> currently at NL50 with $2k. It must be about time to take a shot at NL100.
