my close friend's dad's friend got zapped in the middle of the street in SFO. he sopposedly did alot of legit business w/ russia and would travel overseas there all the time.

there is organized crime over there imo. but i also here russia is really progressing for the better.

Ok ok.. I`ll tell the truth about poker in Rusia.
You shouldn`t ever go there because this is how it goes:

First, the second you land secret KGB agents that took the same flight go berzerk for some unknown reason and start to skullf#@k all the tourists they can find on the plane.
If you survive this it`s followed by a rough azzrape in the cab by 2 vodka drinking gorillas ( cousins of the cab driver ).
You are then taken to Gorky park where they chop your head off and bury the body.
Your head is then raped again before it`s sold on the black market for lotsa Rusian currency ( Vodka of course ) to fat wealthy ex-comunists turned pimps.
These pimps then use the heads to bet them in poker games.
You see....poker in Rusia is not played with money but with foreign tourists`s heads.
Now you know...

A friend of mine worked in Russia, and I was asking him how so many people got so rich. He worked in St. Petersburg, and according to him, you'd go to one of the main shopping streets, and the local mafiosi had turned it into a toll road.
