Default Blind steal meets resistance, for the first time...

I ahve been stealing villains blind at will. He peels the flop and gives up on the turn on all previous steals.

I dont buy his flop lead, I have C bet every flop and turn so far. So he could easily c/r me if he has an A.

You do realize on the turn that OP is drawing to the nut flush?

I think kit realizes this. However, on the flop when OP gets 3 bet he's getting 9.5:1 with only a runner runner one card flush draw on a paired board. No shame in giving up there.

I fold the flop the first time. Pots small, you have few to no outs if he has anything. If I have a read that he checks all of his made hands, then I just call down. Raising lets him off the hook too easily if he's bluffing.

check the flop again.

calling the flop in a small pot to draw to a backdoor flush and a possibly dead K is not a good play.

what the turn card is is irrelevant.

also, in case i didnt make it clear

1) fold the flop the first time means fold when he donks

2) fold the flop the second time means fold when he 3 bets.

I misread your answer, which I thought suggested folding the turn. I agree that he should have folded the flop.

Are we buying that villain has an Ace when he donks the flop ?

I couldnt put him on an Ace, as with my 100% C bet vs him when blind stealing, he has the perfect opportunity to c/r me.
His propensity to peel flop then fold turn, had me thinking that with aggression I could take this pot down. Obviously I ignored what he was telling me and went with what I wanted to see.

I do now see that I should have folded to his flop 3 bet, thanks for the advice.

you are giving him way too much credit. most players arent smart enough to have this line of thought.

this sounds like a fit or fold type player, whos gonna bet if he has something and check if he doesnt. it doesnt matter what he thinks you have or what you've done in the past.

here, he's telling you he has something. believe him and fold.
