Villan has been pretty active, splashing around in a fair amount of hands. He has shown down a couple weak hands but not enough for me to think he's a total idiot.

I am wondering how many worse hands will call me if I bet here. I feel like any busted flush draw won't call and I can take down the pot anyway. I feel like I still have the best hand here. I am not sure whether to bet or check here.

Tons of worse hands will not only call. Shove for value. Ace high may even make a hero call. Never check.

i agree, don't check.I'd like a bet between $2 and 2.5

I bet about 2 here and expect any 8 and lots of pps to call.

You could shove (only about a psb) but my experience is that 10NL fold to PSBs on the river way more often than 2/3 pot.

Yeah bet $2. That puts SB all-in is a good value be. Ace high could call. And a split pair of 8s will call. I am thinking SB had an Ace, two spades, a pair of 8s on the flop and maybe a smaller pair like 55 or deuces, maybe 5/7. And it is still possible he held a 4.

Thanks for the feedback. I did in fact bet $2 and got called. SB happened to be defending with K4 but I wanted to double check that I did in fact make the right play.
