Default 25NL: QQ OOP in 3bet pot

Villain is 47/5/2 over 70 hands
I'd been running 8/4/4 here (so card dead it isn't funny) I'd also been pretty passive on later streets at this table. I was usually against someone who'd bluff the river and I'd catch them with a PP.

Full Tilt Poker, $0.10/$0.25 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 8 Players
LeggoPoker Hand History Converter

MP2: $25.35
CO: $12.50
BTN: $9.65
SB: $18.65
Hero (BB): $25.60
UTG: $11.45
UTG+1: $19.60
MP1: $38.50

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (BB)
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $0.75, MP1 calls $0.75, 4 folds, Hero raises to $3, MP1 calls $2.25

Flop: ($6.85) 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, MP1 checks

I check the flop to get see if I can get a bet out of AK, or a lower pair that was set-mining and missed. When he checks behind, I plan on betting the turn, figuring he'll let me know what he has. (Please comment if this is off, BTW)

Turn: ($6.85) 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero bets $4.50, MP1 raises to $9, Hero calls $4.50

I bet turn, he minraises and I call. As soon as I clicked call, I was like...wtf is wrong with me? He's not doing this with TT, and that's all I'm really ahead of. Not to mention that my calling is definitely setting him up to shove.

River: ($24.85) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets $26.50 and is All-In, Hero folds

Yup, I fold. lol

Results: $24.85 Pot ($1.20 Rake)
MP1 mucked and WON $23.65 (+$11.65 NET)

My thinking now, is that turn is a b/f. I feel like leading out on the flop lets him fold AK/AQ, but isn't folding out anything ahead of me. Comments on all streets welcome.

I lead the flop because it is sooo drawy and there are a ton of cards that can hit the turn that will either have me beat or kill my action.

FYP

As played river is a fold.

Raise to $4 preflop. Against a TAG, getting this hand shown down cheap isn't a bad idea. Against this imbecile, pump the pot as much as possible and as early as possible.

What drawing hands is MP1 calling an EP raise and a reraise from the BB?

I would bet this flop. This villain is passive and without hand he don't bet anyway but he may call if you bet. And also don't give him free cards.

I think the turn is fine.

And river is fold to me. 4 straight and completed flush on the board + passive villain overbeting.

Do you understand what a 47/5 is? A 47/5 does not fold T8 offsuit to one raise. A 47/5 almost certainly doesn't fold AJs to a reraise or even 57s to a reraise. They don't understand odds, and think they'll hit lucky much more often than they actually will.

Point taken, Cheese. It occurred to me that in the hand, I thought that MP1 was the original raiser, and I was putting him on a range of TT+/AK. Given the SPR and the fact that he wasn't the original raiser, I should've been getting the monies in on the flop and turn. (I stopped playing shortly after this hand, because getting this kind of info wrong is just damn awful lol)

Fancy play against a 47/5 is needless. But you already know that. Just value bet him to death on the flop/turn he'll come along with weaker hands.
