Default a couple hands from my first session at 400NL

Poker Stars, $2/$4 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

SB: $72
BB: $394.10
UTG: $78
MP: $674.70
Hero (CO): $487
BTN: $157.10

Pre-Flop: 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (CO)
UTG folds, <font color="red">MP raises to $16</font>, Hero calls $16, 3 folds

Flop: ($38) 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">MP bets $24</font>, Hero calls $24

Turn: ($86) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
<font color="red">MP bets $60</font>, <font color="red">Hero raises to $220</font>, <font color="red">MP raises to $580</font>, Hero calls $227 and is All-In

villain was very active. 32.6/27.4/7 over 175.
is this standard? I raise the flop sometimes but didn't feel like getting blown off of my double gutter which would be pretty well concealed if I hit. turn gives him a good card to double barrel and I pick up outs so I thought it would be a good time to raise since i think i rep a set decently.

I normally raise the flop, but you already covered that.

i like it. although, sometimes i'd call the turn since you have so many outs and your hand will be quite disguised if you hit. no one believes you backdoored a flush or hit your double gutter...

LegoPoker Hand History Converter

BTN: $382.90
SB: $605.30
BB: $502.20
Hero (UTG): $473
MP: $394
CO: $400

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (UTG)

CO was 25/23/3 through 60 hands at the table and I had him at 27/25/6 overall from 100NL-400NL and 3 bet me a few times already. BTN was 39/15/2.6 over 240.

i think that hand is probably a 4bet push. btn cold calling shouldnt scare us at all with those stats. If btn was like 20/15 then a push is bad

hate this spot, I have so much trouble with it myself. I think I'd fold AQo, but call with your AQs... I have no idea though.

I would hardly ever fold the AQss. Push/call is whatever.

first hand is hot because we have so many options. i like the raise because our equity is always decent, he is folding a ton of [censored] to our raise and we can't bluff call the river if he pots it again.

second hand i 4b/shove given the particular lineup
