Default A Master Plan?

From Gambling911:

"Sit tight, online gambling companies are working together to figure out ways to start processing once again using other methods. There is one master plan that could blow everybody's socks off but we've been asked not to comment on it, and we won't." Link

Well it's good to finally see something positive.

Gambling 911 is often "in the know" so hopefullly this is accurate.

Word is there will be a weekly cash boat from the Isle of Man, location disclosed 24 hours prior via email. Lee will be there personally to handle the first drop.

I just wanted to make an off-the-wall speculation on what the master plan could be.

What if a site sets something up so that each individual player could have his or her own overseas bank account? I'm sure there would be quite some cost in doing this, maybe we will end up paying some fees. On the other hand, perhaps because there are so many of us there would be a nice 'group discount'. Not to mention that the sites could pool together for the American player and all help each other.

The advantages of this should be obvious. Could the government really stop a legitimate transaction to a bank? I would think that to be unlikely. But that's not to say that this solution would be the end all to the War on Poker. Obviously at some point we will have to deal with the whole IP ban. But that's another day.

From the linked article, talking about what funding methods various sites are still using:

"eHorse is using pony express."

LOL. Humor like this seems to be in short supply these past few days.

About 12 years ago I used to send money to a sportsbook called telebet via western union. One day I went to send them the money and the western union lady informed that the government had blocked any transfer to that company. A few days later telebet informed me that western union would work and they would be paying a little bit of interest in my new savings account.

If I knew what that plan might be, I wouldn't talk about it here. However, let's say that I'm reasonably unworried about future cash xfer alternatives.
