What is the status on what is allowed in location fields?

Please use some common sense.

There will be an official answer soon. Until now, go with the assumption that a super blatant (and annoying) avatar like that is wrong, in the meantime a more borderline avatar with only the letters "LP" (wtf does LP mean?) still needs to have a Red decision made.

just by using simple logic it's pretty clear that it wouldn't be ok. just ask yourself a few key questions:

1) why is "coaching!! PM me!!" not allowed in location field?

answer: 2+2 has decided that is = free advertising and they don't allow it

2) is the avatar conveying the same message as "coaching! PM me!!" in the location field?

answer: yes, even more so actually

therefore the avatar is not allowed

That kind of common sense is a breath of fresh air. IMO they should give you mod forum access to help sort this out more quickly.
