88 99 J9 etc? i feel like if he's not betting QJ/JT his range is fairly polarized on the end. yes obviously for value.

i dont think those hands call, and even if they did its still not a large % of his calling range.

whats his ranges of hands here? playing it so soft gives so little info. If your going to call call fold, why not put in a small raise on the flop to see if you J is good? Looks to me like you were a little to passive here. You did nothing to show strength here and he took advantage of the green light.

calling the river here is terrible imo... I think turn is pretty close, I can see a case for calling/folding.
