Default 200NL AQ street by street

Poker Stars - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $1/$2 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter)

I had no reads/stats at the time the hand took place.

Hero (SB): $272.30
BB: $200.00
UTG: $240.65
CO: $214.65
BTN: $207.25

Preflop: Hero is dealt A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (5 Players)
UTG raises to $4.00, 2 folds, Hero calls $3.00, BB calls $2.00

Flop: ($12) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 Players)

whats my line here? I know that 3bet is probably standard but the min raise was from UTG and Im trying to keep pots smaller pre flop.

lol don't check/fold. I won't comment on preflop, but I like check/call on the flop.

yea, I feel you with the minraise from utg and not wanting to 3bet. its like these clowns that minraise the button w/ AA and then start potting the [censored] out three streets on a Jxxxx and getting some tard to call them down with JTo.

as for the flop, I think check/call or check/raise are pretty viable lines depending on how he bets. I don't think I'd ever lead here tbh, dunno why but its just not something I would do, prob w/ the bb coming along I could see it getting checked through a lot of the time and I'd like to see a free card.

jay i'd actually be fine w/ you commenting on preflop if you think its important. I really don't remember my specific reasons for deciding to c/r instead of c/c but I usually hate c/c oop with draws because I always hate the turn spot I'm in when i miss and if I hit its harder to get paid off. I think I saw him overbet and thought his hand was of marginal strength. I really have no idea what to do with that turn because he could have made a flush but i have a redraw to Q hi. It could have given me the best hand. b/c, b/f, c/c?

Beautiful turn, do anything but don't fold. b/c, c/c can't be wrong. I'd bet 90$ & call

Board: Td Jd 8h Ad

Hand 0: 56.908% 55.56% 01.35% 929 22.50 { TT+, 88, AJs-ATs, KQs, JTs, KQo }

Flop lead doesn't look good since there is very little folding equity since this flop hit a lot of things. Check call seems good, your outs are well disguised (hmm well, just the K but nonetheless). It looks like a draw but villain putting you on a draw might be good here since you could bluff the flush if it hits.

Preflop I like the reraise more, especially if you have seen him do it before since people often min raise with suited connectors or small pairs. In that case you you are ahead of his range, isolating him and gaining the betting initiative. And if it is aces or something you will surely hear from him before you commit tooo much of your stack.
