4/180 Challenge Tonight - Special Bounty Event!

When: Tuesday, August 14th, 2007 @ 8:00pm EST

All members must register for the next FOUR 4/180s on PokerStars AFTER 8:00pmEST (20:00 Server time). If a tournament has less than 20 regged at 20:00 then that tournament will be the first one. I will post in this thread when we are starting.

Cost: Please send $10 to MathMagic1 (Riverside) on Stars. (Be sure I'm in Riverside before sending.)

High-Rollers-Side-Fun The base challenge is $10. If you want to play for more money than that, send either $30 or $80.
- $30 gets you into the regular challenge ($10) and Tier-2 ($20).
- $80 gets you into the regular challenge ($10), Tier-2 ($20) and Tier-3 ($50).
- Basically works like three individual challenges - same scoring, same tourneys, same payout structure, same everything. Only difference is the number of runners.

Scoring: Same as last week:

Missed tourney = 0 points
180-150th = 0 points
149-120th = 0.5 points
119-100th = 1 point
99-80th = 2 points
79-60th = 3 points
59-40th = 4 points
39-30th = 5 points
29-20th = 7 points
19th = 9 points
18-15th = 10 points
14-10th = 12 points
9th = 15 points
8th = 17 points
7th = 19 points
6th = 21 points
5th = 24 points
4th = 27 points
3rd = 30 points
2nd = 35 points
1st = 40 points

Wins and final 3's are HUGE in this stucture. Tie breakers go as follows.

1st tiebreak - Total Monies Won (as a clarification, if you chop in a 4/180 (LOL) your total monies won is the $ that you chopped for, not the place that you finished).
2nd tiebreak - Highest Finish
3rd tiebreak - 2nd Highest Finish

If tied after that it is chopped

Payout structure is the same as last week.

Payouts:
- Less than 10 = 1st-100%
- 10-19 = 1st-80%, 2nd 20%
- 20-29 = 1st-60%, 2nd-30%, 3rd-10%
- 30+ = 1st-50%, 2nd-25%, 3rd-15%, 4th-10%

Special Bounty Tonight!

$10 from the tier 1, 1st place prize pool will be given to the first person (chronologically) to knock out a bounty for this week. The bounty player is determined based on last week's finishing order. If no one knocks off the bounty player, the $10 is returned to the tier 1 first place prize pool. The top returning finisher from last week is the bounty based on this order:

Yeah. If he plays. If he doesn't play, it is the next person on the list...and so forth until one plays. The top person from last week who plays is the bounty.

~20 for the first tier. I think the most was like 30+. Usually a handful in the 2nd tier and 0, 1, 2, or 3 in tier 3.
