Does anyone dislike shoving on the flop? Either way there is no way you should be checking this turn. As played shove turn get called by Ax and profit.

Yeah, have to shove the turn with that stack. I thought the flop bet was fine, though.

I guess you have to fold the river, although he could be doing this w/ two pair. The problem is that's the only thing you beat right now.

You guys are nuts. Just over 1000 in the pot an you have to bet 900. We have a set here. The flop bet is fine. Shoving turn is fine. Sometimes checking turn is fine too. He's often going to shove his crappy hand and you double up.

Everyone's yelling at you because
A. He checked behind on the turn
B. The nastiest card in the deck came on the river (ok any heart sucks)
C. He went allin on the river.

That's quite a parlay and I'm willing to occasionally slowplay and gamble that won't happen. As is, I think you have to fold the river.

no, youre nuts

look at that board. flush draws, MOST hands that would call a raise hit this board somehow, and thats dangerous when many hands have draws. oh wait, youre right, we have a set, who cares about the board texture. lets bet tiny so he can chase draws!

that advice is so bad on this board

The point is not bettign the turn is bad. If he was on any legitimate draw, it was a combo draw, whether FD with gut shot, pair and FD or SD. So he is calling the turn push getting 3:1 thinking he has more outs than he does. We check the turn, and the river bricks. He may fold for the thousand.
