Since I haven't seen it skimming this thread, I figure I'll mention it because it's pretty huge.

The rules at Foxwoods recently changed dramatically and I suggest everyone take note.

Stuff like:

-your phone rings, your hand is dead. 1 warning , then you miss an orbit the next time
-you look at your phone while sitting at the table, same thing
-you talk to anyone during the hand, same thing. anyone. even HU.
-you act out of turn, same thing

they've been in effect for a couple/few weeks now and they're really trying to follow them to a 't' in the Acts, which I would assume is indicative of it continuing into the WPF.

fair warning. get a rule sheet.

You mean someone not at the table, right?

No, I don't. It's fairly stupid and takes a lot of the fun out of tournaments.

Edit: Of course, I'm referring to talking about the hand in any way, shape or form. Not just talking to people about general crap. I mean stuff like:
-"you got two pair over there?"
-"flush draw on the board..."
-"I think I have you beat..."
-"You want action?"

stuff like that...

Are you serious!?!? I posted in this thread earlier about looking at cell phone/electronic equipment, but the talking to people part has gone way too far. I always talk to people in hands and no one has stopped me yet, although I know sometimes people complain. Have you seen someone's hand declared dead because they were talking to their opponent?

Friend was playing an ActIII last week.

One guy folded out of turn.
Dealer said not to do it again please.
Dude basically said "F U"
Folded out of turn again an orbit later.
"Floor!"
Had to sit out an orbit

After river, dude is contemplating bet.
Guy after him says "I'm all in" out of turn
First guy calls the floor and asks if his hand is dead.
Floor gives the guy a warning. Next time his hand is dead.
'All in' boy had the nuts and is lucky his hand wasn't killed.
Next time it happened it would be "You, sir, are all in and your hand is also dead."

The thing about these rules is, it states that you get one warning. After that, you're fair game.

Staying there Nov 1 - 4th Playing the 1500 and sitting 5/10 NL the rest of the time

Possibly with daryn :X

If you can't get a room at FW stay at the Bellisimo, the place is great and really close offers a free Limo (real limo) back and forth every half hour.

Holla at me dogs

Any advice on the best way to get from the Providence airport to Foxwoods?

Also, if I'm wiring ~$50k to the casino, is it worth inquiring about a room upgrade? I actually spoke with a casino host earlier, but she basically told me that poker players aren't worth her time and that I should call the poker room once the money is wired. Anyone have success with that?
