Re: nl 200 - QQ v TAG
[ QUOTE ]
Why wouldn't you choose the huge bet if you plan on c/fing the turn anyways? [/ QUOTE ] why would you? if you know you are going to c/f the turn, why would you put extra money in on the flop? |

Looks good, I prolly bet slightly more on turn [/ QUOTE ] on hand history posts i always see people saying to bet more on the turn. why do people always advocate betting closer to the 2/3 pot or closer to the pot than a half pot bet, or whatever bet the person had done. why always up the bet? |

[/ QUOTE ] becauase it might get hands to fold, and if youre not going to bet the turn then you save money by betting bigger on the flop and c/folding the turn, than you do betting less on the flop and then betting again on the turn only to c/fold on the river |

No one folds a King. Think about what you are saying. Getting better hands to fold is like when we have 88, and the flop is AJ2 and we want JT to fold. There are no better hands that are folding this flop when you bet, just worse ones. |

Re: nl 200 - QQ v TAG
I check/call the flop. I do this with AK/AA/KK too (not 100% with these hands obv).
I think betting the flop is quite bad. I know I made a post about c-betting a bit bigger on the flop when you're planning to c/f the turn to prevent floating, doesn't really apply here becuase we have the best hand on the flop a high % of the time. |

Re: nl 200 - QQ v TAG
Yes but many players call the flop and Turn with a midpair like 77-99... look at his WTSD it is about 54.
