Nh. Some might say raise the flop, but this line here probaly gets more from Aj,AQ some lower pocket pairs. The turn worries me a bit since I don't think that's a second barrel. I might bet a little less, say 6, on the river, but I don't really know.

Re: 25NL: AKo in position, 160BB deep, played too passively?
I'm torn over whether I should raise turn some. He's good enough to dump AJ or AQ there. My thinking was that I could represent a missed flush draw bluff on the river and get a call from those hands and maybe even QQ or KK.
He definitely has AJ+99+ with his UTG raise. |

So a really aggressive player-which he is- might reraise me with AQ. OTOH, I only have TPTK... but it is a really good TPTK, and I don't think he'd raise UTG with any hand that hit that board harder than me except for AA or TT. I guess I'd call a smallish raise, no more than 12 more. .....But I probably shouldn't. I don't know. This is why I posted this hand. |

Ant - good player here never check raises with AQ. He either does it with air (busted flush draw) or something that beats you.

Your line is fine, but I might raise the turn here for value.
