Default How do you beat 70/20/2 Maniacs?

Over at where i play, the game is full of these maniacs playing 5max .25/.50. I dunno why but im having alot of trouble beating them rather then beating TAGs or LAGs. Isnt it supposed to be easier winning the maniacs?

The problem with these people is that there's no folding equity when raising against them preflop. Don't get started on 3betting coz its juz sucidal (unless premiums). And when the flop comes, we'll be missing more often then not and cbetting them is useless (they'll call and we won't know where we stand, they are Maniacs!). So it turns out that we can't bluff them (but they can bluff us), and we can't carry on unless we hit at least TP (which dosent come too often).

So how would you play against these people? Do you tighten up or play more aggressively (bigger bets, CR, etc) trying to make them fold? If we play TAG and give up when we miss TP, we can sometimes wait till we play off a stack or 2. If we play looser and more aggressively post flop, it seems like we are tossing a coin with them. Or is there some other optimal way of dealing with such people?

so bet/raise for value. Don't bluff. Play better starting hands then them. And be prepared for variance.
