Default $25NL 3 hands vs my Nemesis at table (44, AK, KK)

Villain was my nemesis at this table. He limped a lot of crap, anything suited, and when he hit 2 pr he c/c until river. He would also c/c w/ tpwk, mp, bp, so basically I never new where I stood with him. Also, PAHUD was not working so I had no stats, although I am still learning how to use it so it really wouldn't matter.

Here are 3 hands vs him. How's my line?

Hand 1 - this was like the only hand he played aggressively from pf on... I new this but hated him...

[/ QUOTE ]I was at the table for this hand and I thought it was pretty terrible. Nice long pause on the river to get him to check.

I agree it seemed backwards to me on every street, y raise preflop if you aren't going to play the hand aggressive post flop? It is extremely -ev to play small pairs this way from EP.

In hand 2 I'd just push the flop after the push by shorty.
In hand 3 I'd probably just c/c the river unless he'd call that big bet with a Jack which some terrible players would.

Also with overly loose players in general and deepstacks like you had it's ok to bet more preflop than the 4bb+1 more per limper because it's not like they're folding and it's easier to get money in post flop. Make it $2.50 - $3.50 and he probably still calls.

hand 1 bit worried when a passive player starts betting just play for set value c/f flop.

hand 2 as played why blow villain off his hand just bet smaller around $10. You've got a side pot to fill don't force him to play correctly. Personally I would reraise in this spot on the flop to about $25-30.

hand 3 is fine take him to valuetown.

My point for all 3 hands is that I have no idea what villain had all game. Sometimes he was c/c w/ tp, mp, bp, 2 pr. I never new. Only once was he aggressive and that was the 44 hand. I knew that was bad, but let my anger take control instead of folding. The KK hand I was again shocked to see what he had (luckily I won)

I guess the real question I need you all to answer is, am I risking too much of my stack on these hands, not knowing where I stand? I won 2 of 3 hands above, but that does not mean that I played the hands correctly. I am having trouble applying stack preservation to tptk and over pairs. In Sng's (my background) my AK, KK line is fine (my 44 line is terrible in SNG's too )
