If he were a player I respect I'd assume his range is very polarized. He either has a very strong hand or a bluff here. I'd doubt he will play this way with some kind of top pair hand. So I'd tend to fold.
But your opponent seems to be on the fishy side and bad players make bad plays. So I'd be less inclined to fold but without a read I probably still would.
