Hi everyone: we're aware of what's going on and our programmers are looking into it. You can be assured as always that we will handle all affected players fairly.

Latest news I have been given is that we will be restarting the server and should be up in ~15mins. Tournaments will be rolled forward under the usual policy:

It's likely that all current tournaments will be canceled. If they somehow didn't cancel, then everyone is being blinded off right now. Stars will likely refund your entry fee if you didn't cash in the tourney.

Just e-mail support after it comes back up and they'll help you out.

Similarly, I'm sure Stars will help out with cash game issues.

EDIT: I guess Stars already replied a couple above me.

I just looked back at my emails from March. What happened them was an asplodation at 6:07am and an unsplodation at 7:12, by which time I had gone to bed. "Play" continued through the downtime all the way until 7:24 at which time the tournament was cancelled. So an outage of an hour will kill the tournament. I do wonder how they handle satellites.
