Default Anyone know anything about Bayou poker?

I'm trying to find anything I can about Bayou poker as I have a decent sized pending cashout for months now. I made a post about a month ago regarding this issue but nobody responded [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] If someone knows anything about cashouts from this site or anything that might be useful could you please let me know? Thanks.

This is a subject I feel strongly about.

Do not, under any circumstance whatsoever, put any money in Bayou poker. They are criminal scum. That is, even if they offer you effectively 90% RB or something similar, do not use their site. They make these offers so they can confiscate your funds. They are criminal scum.

I understand this doesn't really help your situation. I'm very sorry for you. In the past I would have said contact the Ongame Ombudsman, however, Ongame ditched Bayou from their network because they are criminal scum.

I think you should e-mail nross@futurebet.com (Nancy Ross) and perhaps email ombudsman@ongamenetwork.com but I don't think they will be much help whatsoever. Good luck.

No direct experience, but i have also heard very bad things.

While i wouldnt advocate chip dumping under any other circumstances, it may be justified here. Would it be possible for you to cancel the cashout? If so, perhaps your most +EV line would be to "lose" your roll to a friend who could reimburse you?

REAL ongame skins process cashouts the very next day. My condolences to you. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

Default Why didn\'t OnGame guarantee their skins\' payouts .... after all ....

OnGame collected ALL the money from deposits, took out THEIR cut, and then paid the balance to the skins. Since they directly benefited from the activities of EVERY ONE of their skins, why should they be allowed to collect Bayou deposit money and take their own cut without looking out for skin players ???

Bayou Poker is now a skin of Digital Gaming Network and presumably regulated by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. contact info for Bayou is:

Fax - (604) 688-2102
General Information - (604) 689-1441
Toll Free General Information - (888) 689-8522

When Bayou was on OnGame they were run by "Futurebet" who in my opinion are the real criminals. I believe when they moved networks they are still run by Futurebet. I would never and recommend that no one else ever puts any money into a site, be it Poker a Casino or Sportsbook run my Futurebet, they are the scum of the internet gambling world.

Thanks everyone. For those who know about it there is a google group for pokes poker players who are owed money. Pokes was also part of the whole futurebet problem. The google group is banding together to collectively fight to get our money back by any means necessary. Does anyone know of any similar efforts being made for Bayou players?

Hi everyone,

As previously noted on 2+2, the Ongame Network Ombudsman can not be expected to respond directly to threads in forums since monitoring and responding to issues across every single one of the world's major poker forums is simply too big of an undertaking.

But since we are still working on giving the Ombudsman a proper home where you players can easily report complaints against Ongame Network contracted partner sites, we will continue to make occasional exceptions for 2+2 members.

Unfortunately there is little else we can say in the matter of Futurebet skins that we have not already stated.

A decision was taken by us to terminate the contract with Futurebet since they did not uphold a sufficient standard of player services and deviated from certain business practises we require that all partner sites abide by.

Upon termination of the relationship, we finalized all player transactions and ended our relationship with Futurebet.

What happened to those funds after that is, sadly, impossible for us to control. So despite our best intentions to help players locate their missing funds and restore our own reputation (because we certainly take partial blame whenever one of our contracted partner sites misbehaves) there isn't anything we can do. Not anything that we have been able to think of so far anyway.

In theory, any player who was a customer of Futurebet could claim that they have not been able to recover their funds.

a) We cannot verify such claims.

b) We are predominately a technical provider of virtual poker rooms. Player services in the form of Support, Payments etc are always the responsibility of our contracted partner sites.

We have in the past and will continue to deeply regret the fact that rogue skins were able to severe the network's reputation and mistreat players in the gravest fashion.

We have completely re-worked certain routines to ensure that should a similar situation arise in the future, we will retain some power over contracted partner sites even after we decide to terminate their contract.

If there is any way in which we can assist you players in recovering any missing funds, we are certainly willing to listen.

To be frank, any player who still has not been able to recover his or her funds has suffered the worst of bad beats. To the extent that players hold us partly responsible for it (fair enough), we can only offer our apologies and our assistance if possible.

We would also like to apologize in advance to anyone who interprets this statement as a defence of our own actions in this matter. It isn’t. We are simply trying to offer some insight into it.

Does that help players recover any funds? No. Is it better than not commenting on it at all? We certainly hope so.

Thank you for taking the time to read this extensive statement and good luck at the tables.

This thread will continue to be monitored.

Sincerely,

The Ombudsman

Understandable.. that would be good customer service.

This couldn't have been researched earlier?

So thousands of players, who Ongame helped set up with a poorly run company, were left to deal with Futurebet? Did you guys not give a [censored] what happened to our money?

SHUT THE [censored] UP. SERIOUSLY, SHUT THE [censored] UP. DID YOU LAUGH WRITING THIS UP? DO YOU REALIZE HOW MANY PLAYERS YOU HAVE [censored] OUT OF THEIR MONEY BY LEAVING THEM TO DEAL WITH A SHADY COMPANY WHO YOU LEFT WITH ALL OUR MONEY, WHICH WE TRUSTED SINCE THEY DEALT WITH THE SEEMINGLY RELIABLE ONGAME NETWORK?

Yeah.. all us Pokes Poker players can only log in, and verify easily all the money we have had pending for the last 6 months.

Did you guys do any research before lending out contracted partner sites? Any sort of backnet for the safety of players funds? Seems goddamn easy for me to have set up my own skin and ran off with my customer's deposits if I lived in a foreign country.

It's an absolute joke Ongame is still in business, and that the majority of their present customers have no idea about the likes of Pokes and Bayou and how Ongame supported them and let trusting customers use them, only to ship all their customers money to a rogue cashier program that would obviously, to anyone in the inside, run off with this cash.

Anyone who still uses the Ongame network is either uninformed or an idiot.

Why? So you can try to save your rep a little bit? We know you have no intention to pay back any of your player's money you gave to a fledling and corrupt Futurebet. Get your PR [censored] out of here and stop wasting our time.

So it'd only take three weeks of guaranteed tournament prize money to pay off all those Pokes players!
