Gold caught a lot of cards in his run. It's easy to mouth it up at the table when you flop straights. He was the dominating chip leader for a long time. He could afford to splash around in every pot.

The poster clearly was referring to the scientifically proven fact that they are both physically disgusting. That is not based on Star Jones being black or Rosie O'Donnel being gay. If he used Halle Berry or Portia De Rossi as examples then you may be correct.

Or do you mean missing clear, hugely obvious in-position value bet spots, that are even more obvious considering the bluffy image he has? 'steamrolling' = playing horrible (but winning)?

For all the hating, the point of poker is to win money, and they both won more than I can ever hope to. If I could emulate them, I would, and I would laugh my nuts off at losers telling me I can't play poker.
