full tilt noise problem

on tilt I have sound set to off and my volume is muted but when I click on a table to highlight it ine lobby my computr does a warning beep. this is hella annoying

any ideas why/how to stop this?

im using vista if that is important

Does it do the warning beep even when you have your sound on?

A quick and dirty fix would be to go into your BIOS and disable the PC speaker, which is pretty useless in most cases of error notification.
