Default If there was ever a time to fold KK preflop, is this it?

Is this the time?

Party 33.00

3rd hand of the tourney. I'm on the button with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

20/40 Blinds, UTG raises to 140, MP2 reraises to 280. I smooth call on the button, UTG pushes, MP calls all in, HERO?????????? I've only folded KK once in a cash game, never in a tourney.

3rd hand I'm totally willing to triple up or go home. I'm not good enough to fold KK preflop.

same here, absent of any other information i'm calling and pray to see two AQ or a couple of lower pairs. Some days it's just not your day and the'll have AA.

I would have pushed first time. I don't like the flatcall vs two people at all. As a matter of fact, I hate it.

I instacall the two all-ins. A $33 is filled with all kinds of lunatics. I'm certainly willing to gamble.

You're probably up against AQo and TT

You sensed MP had AA, but you reluctantly called and he then flipped the AA, right? That's what I would have done. Hard laydown, man, hard laydown.

This isn't a fold on the 3rd hand of a Party $33. I would have reraised the first time, possibly just pushed then.

3rd hand you really don't have enough information on someone yet I probably would have reraised. If my opponent comes over the top I have to consider they hold AA QQ JJ AK or AQ and really only one of these holdings preflop beat me. 7.5 to 1 to hit trips This will beat his holding if he has pocket AA but I wouldn'et count on that. this is a hand that your typically going to loose alot of chips. Wouldn't get into the habit of folding pokcet Kings preflop. The other issue is no matter what hits will he be willing to fold pocket AA most people in this level of tour. ride it till the end. If you do hit trips your going to win alot of chips. It's a gamble thats poker.

What range of hands would MP have where he would make such a small/callable re-raise pf and then call a push (adjust weight given that 2 K's are removed frome the deck)?
