Default Lagg player bets on flop A high, paired

Vilian is 71/29.7/1.58,1.8,1.86 after 101hds

Ultimate Bet 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (8 handed) Ultimate Bet Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
<font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">HERO raises</font>, MP2 calls, <font color="#666666">2 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB 3-bets</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, <font color="#CC3333">HERO caps</font>, MP2 calls, SB calls.

Flop: (13 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets</font>, <font color="#CC3333">HERO ??

Fold? Call? Raise? From the hands he's played, this player is pretty crazy though equity is not very high for my TT, I am definitely more inclined to raise here for value here.

Advice?

It looks to me, just based on his stats that he's a maniac preflop, but postflop looks a lot more solid.

Any read on his 3-betting range?

I'd raise in this spot, and call him down if he 3-bets again.

I think this is a WA/WB situation, no? I'd call down. Probably bet if checked to on the turn and the card looks safe.

His stats don't tell us if he's a complete calling station, so we might be letting him off easy with a flop raise if he's able to fold his Axs, or whatever. Or pumping the pot if he has us beat.

I have problem with villians like this is... even though they should be very profitable for us, it is generally very difficult to put them on a range of hands with just stats. A more explicit read helps (e.g. capped J8s pf, called down Q high UI).

With a player left to act I raise. Heads up I probably call 3 times or bet when checked to.

Actually, his aggression #'s are pretty much off the chart. Remember, that number is quantified in relationship to how many hands played. So, if his pf stats were more in line, then his aggression postflop would be pretty standard tag. As it is, given the number of hands he plays, his postflop aggression is pretty much bet, raise, or fold. Not a lot of calling.

OP-I am torn between calling down and raising the turn.

Ah, right... didn't realize there was someone else in the pot. Normally, a raise would make sense, but I don't know if normal poker logic applies here. You might not be able to get rid of MP2 until the river.

Any stats on MP2? As it stands, I'm still leaning towards seeing the showdown as cheap as possible.

aaaaaaaaaaghhhhhhh my post is bleeding!!!!!!!!!! (try closing the color tag next time.)</font></font>

i have no idea what "equity is not very high for my TT" is supposed to mean.

anyway, just listen to sean; he's almost always right.

dilbert avatar guy,

for someone playing 70+% of his hands (and raising many of them), an AF of ~2 is very very high. this guy is almost certainly a maniac.

So basically, anyone playing 50% VP$IP and more are a lot more aggressive postflop than I figured as soon as their AF reaches (and passes) 1.00?

In that case a lot of my stat reads have been quite off their mark then.
Fortunately I also use non-stat reads (but for a smaller number of opponents)...

Im not sure to cap this preflop cus u make big pot and u are not sure what card will be scary vs LAG, you also will have one person behind u at postflop so i would probably just call.

flop i raise to protect my hand from OC flop is dry and you often are ahead.
hu i play c/c all streets

Folding would be horrible. I am tempted to raise since pot is so big.
