Default A move I make at 50NL, will it be transparent at higher levels?

$0.25/$0.5 No Limit Holdem
5 players
Converted at weaktight.com

Stacks:
UTG (<font color="#0000cc">$91.75</font>)
CO (<font color="#0000cc">$53.10</font>)
BTN (<font color="#0000cc">$138.30</font>)
Hero (<font color="#0000cc">$81.30</font>)
BB (<font color="#0000cc">$50.00</font>)

Pre-flop: ($0.75, 5 players) Hero is SB A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
<font color="#777777">3 folds</font>, <font color="#cc0000">Hero raises to $2</font>, BB calls $1.5

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($4, 2 players)
Hero checks, <font color="#cc0000">BB bets $2.5</font>, Hero calls $2.5

Turn: Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] ($9, 2 players)
<font color="#cc0000">Hero bets $6</font>, <font color="#777777">1 fold</font>

When I suspect a bluff coming from someone IP (which is very often in a BvB situation, on a raggedy board), I often check-call/lead turn (of course this is a good scare card, but sometimes I'll lead on anything).

This gets them to fold quite a bit, but I worry that to thinking players at 100NL+ this move is going to be obvious.

Does this line make sense for anything except a bluff?
