What do you think of this NL bet?
I'm using this idea at my home NL Ring game...what do you think?
When two players are all in, they expose their cards, and the player with the favorite hand gets to hedge his bet. For example, let's say one player shows AA and the other shows KK...and they both have $200 in the pot. The player with the AA can hedge his all in bet with a side bet...like $50. If he loses the main pot, he still wins the $50 from the house. Do you think this is something you would use when you play NL ring game? It's sort of like Poker Insurance. |

If he wins the pot, he loses the $50 insurance bet...but wins the $200 main pot bet.
