Default 5/10 NLO8 Hand

SB Villan is Bank900, I keep questioning how to play this hand as he is very loose 56.8/15.98/0.71 style player for those not familiar with him

UTG+1: $653
CO: $375.55

I dont understand your flop call. I also dont know how you are folding on this turn. I mean what hand do you think you are up against and what hands does he put you on? I think he is putting you on low or FD and know that you will be if checked to. You need to call $740 to win $180+$180+$180+$740 = 1280 so a little less than 1.75:1 on your money. I think this is a hand where you didnt think out what your options are. I mean when you pot the turn you have to think that he is either ai or folding at this point. Now you have picked up an OESD + FD + TP. Now the question is what you think he is c/r ai with here
i may just be rambling though

TheStation - I'd fold to the pot sized bet on the flop. Your fit with the flop is rather thin, mainly one pair of aces with the inside straight draw - and your low draw, not great in the first place, got counterfeited.

Meanwhile, although it's impossible to know what SB holds, SB could easily have a better fit with this flop. I hate to get bullied, but I think the prudent play is to get out before the betting gets nasty.

I hate the way you played this hand. I'm not too familiar with NL O8, but it seems to me that if you call that flop you have to keep in mind that it's almost a certainty he's pushing the turn to any bet you make given his leading out and betting before the flop and on the flop.

When you actually make a better drawing hand on the turn, you made two huge mistakes. First, you have NO HAND at this point and he's GIVING YOU A FREE CARD. Second, you bet and then you folded. I don't understand the fold at all - if you didn't want to get the free card and wanted to put money in the middle, you may as well bite the bullet here and gambling to hit your draw. Even assuming he has a set (which that raise seems to infer), I don't see how you can fold this for what you're drawing too especially since you didn't take the free card. Assuming he has maybe A-Q-x-x with spades, you're drawing more thin, but I don't think you can put him on spades based on that flop bet (unless he miracles some 2-3-x-x with spades).

EDIT: Everyone else posted what I was thinking while I was typing this, well done guys.

Thanks for the input - I agree I played it badly, I still cant believe I didnt take a free card as he is paying me off so often here as I can say he will bet pot or shove 90% of all rivers in this spot as he loves to pounce on any weak play, anytime it goes check/check on turn he will bet the river big every time, I wanted to bet here to hopefully slow that down and get to a cheaper showdown but we seee where that lead to...

Just to explain why I called the flop, I really thought he had nothing as he would raise with any 4 cards in that spot and fire the flop with any 4 cards, I think I need to fold or raise the flop and that a call is the worst option, if anything use my $180 to raise him there instead of throwing it away on the turn...

The reason I folded the turn is I thought I was up against AAxx AQxx 90%+ of the time and needed to dump this, its also possible he had a hand very similar to mine

I do agree that if I take this line to bet pot I have to be willing to call an all in every time, this player is pretty crazy and random, just found this example below

I have been looking around more in my datamine and it looks like he always has a hand and rarely bets out with any big hands and looks to C/R all in or get the other person to shove in reaction to his checking which I fell for, if he had air he would just keep betting to force me out which just makes me wonder why I called the flop pot bet of someone that will double barrell bluff almost anything
