Default Problems with AVG Free

This is strange. On 2 of my computers it says AVG 7.1 has expired, download 7.5 to be protected. So I go to the download stie and when I try to install it, I get this error and it won't let me. Is this a ploy to make me buy the pay version or what?

And even stranger, on my 3rd computer, 7.1 still works and keeps updating and protecting me. What is going on?

No, they legitimately expired the old version. Download the new version but don't run it. Uninstall the old one, reboot, then install the new one you downloaded.

Dave gives good advice since you are having problems. However, for the record I've installed 7.5 on around 15-20 computers that were running 7.1 and had no problems what so ever, so that shouldn't be a big problem. However, I agree that if you are getting errors, I'd uninstall AVG and immediately install 7.5.

Good luck.
