Default Any different lines, other than 4bet flop ??

Villain is quite new to the tbl, he is running at 56/21/3 over 60 hands.

Can anyone suggest any other lines other than 4bet on the flop.. which I guess may have taken the pot although I`m not sure as he has a pair & a gutshot lol

Is my line really bad & for what reasons, I really thought after his raise on the flop trips was a big part of his range.

I would not 4bet here as both of you are pretty deep. So I would call the flop and c/c the turn. The 9 is a ugly card. It takes your straight outs away as villain might have a higher straight already.
You might though be ahead and you have some flush draw outs. So I would call the turn and fold UI to another big river bet. If you hit your flush you can get it in on the river.

Btw: Do not post results plz

idk, i'd probably discount your straight outs actually, sure they might be good but i'd rather hit the flush... i personally dont like the one card bottom end of the straight that much... this is a limped pot too no reason he can't have J in his hand...

not so sure i like the turn, you're folding literally zero hands that beat you... & i think all of the hands you beat... i think only way you get called is by sets, obv trying to pair the board...

After thinking about this hand some more , I also really dislike my turn shove, I think c/c is the best line, then folding to another large bet on the river.

If I make my flush on the river as I`m OOP is it right just to lead for 2/3 pot ? ( Anyone like an overbet shove given villains stats ? ) , as the board would then be to scarey & even nut straight is going to check behind ?

Also at how many BBs deep do people stop 4betting this on the flop in general ?
