Default AP MGR explained please!

I am regularly getting much less MGR reported by TITN than my pokertracker suggests I should get. It seems to be consistently about half. I have asked TITN several times to explain how my rakeback is calculated but their responses seem to suggest they don't actually read the emails. I am a US resident.

1. Are bonuses cleared deducted from MGR?
2. Are there some fees that I am unaware of?
3. Am I getting charged for being a US player?
4. Could someone give me a detailed explanation of how MGR is calculated?

It's probably getting reported correctly but I should be able to determine for myself what I am entitled to.

Thx in advance

1) Bonuses are not deducted
2) There are no hidden fees (see 3)
3) You are getting hit for transaction fees for being a US player. At the moment these fees are split across the board. AP are working on having individual transaction costs per person (as Full Tilt do)
4) Rake is caclculated as follows:
Weighted Contributed:
You simply get allocated the weighted proportion of the pot that you contributed. If for example the pot was $60, the rake taken is $3. If you put in $2 to the pot then your rake consideration is (2/60 * $3) or $0.10

We are confident that TITN are reporting your rake correctly as it will simply be straight from the report that AP send them

Hope that helps

Kind regards

Thankyou that was very helpful. I now see that my pokertracker is calculating MGR by the dealt method, not contributed.

Does anyone know of a way to track contributed MGR other than waiting for a report from AP?

I remember reading in this forum that Vegas Poker 24/7 did not deduct bonuses for US players, but that AP did. Can anyone confirm that AP bonuses are now NOT being deducted for US players?

AP bonuses are not deducted, as is the case at BigChip also.
