Proposal for an SSHE Study Group

I think 90% of the problem that beginners like myself face are applying the somewhat abstract concepts in the poker books we read. I am proposing a study group/chat session that would meet periodically to discuss the very basics concepts that make up Hold Em in general. (Pre Flop Play via Starting Hands, Basic Odds Calculation, Position, etc.)

Can the mods create a sticky here entitled SSHE Study Group?

I am interesting in helping out the real beginners and also trying to drive some of this information home in my brain. I am currently on my second read of SSHE, so I would like to have some IM discussions with any of you who need help or just want to talk about poker.

I will work to post any questions once a week regarding specific chapters and also some Chapter End study questions that will really assist you in understanding and applying the information. Nothing solidifies information better than discussing it openly.

Between posting here and sending instant messages via AIM/MSN/Yahoo we can all analyze SSHE and understand the concepts. I am quite excited about its potential. Even if I get one good poster/messenger it could benefit us all.

Sounds interesting. I read the book cover to cover within 2 days of getting it and I still read sections of it from time to time.
