Hand #1: Round 2 raise is spewy. A lot of players coming from hold'em like to put in a lot of action in round 2, but it's often not worthwhile. Even if you have the best hand with 234, it may be a very modest edge.

Keeping the 9 on the first draw is a play you can make sometimes. Reraising before the draw would be spewy.

A 2-card draw is generally only a 2:1 dog against a 1-card draw on the third draw. You can sometimes make this call in position and hope he's still drawing, but I'd save it for larger pots. Drawing two on the last round will induce some horrific "value bets" from your opponent's pat hands and draws.

Hand #2:

Call is fine. You could occasionally raise but I tend to save that for better hands, or rough draws that I want to disguise/semisnow.

Round 2: If you had three-bet then the call would be automatic. As it is the pot is somewhat small. Given that you have position I'd continue.

Round 3: If you can't call here, then calling on round 2 was a mistake. His bet is automatic since he's a card ahead, so you should call and draw one; many times he will be drawing one as well.

(Sometimes you should raise round three even though you're drawing.)

If you knew your opponent was pat with an 8 or better, and you were getting only 5:1, then you could fold. Your odds of winning are only 5.35 to 1. (The betting on the 4th round might help but it's better to be drawing to a 7 if you're counting on that.) But, if he would pat with a 9 or worse (and he should) or he would bet because he was a card ahead (as he should), then you have a call.

On hand 1 I like keeping the 9, as it might discourage him, and might give you a little raising leverage on round 2. He's oop and may wary of his hand vs 2 card draw. As played don't raise round 2.

On hand 2, reraising pf might be ok but it's a call a lot of the time too. On round 3 raising could be ok, if you think he's LAGgy. Put him to the test sometimes here, and see if you can make him draw 2.

Why not stand pat on third draw on hand 1?
Is this bluff is better than drawing 2?
