What to do with aggresive villain on relatively empty board?
Was i correct to just call down here?
Villain in SB was a strange mix of loose aggresive preflop, tight passive postflop (in hands viewed before this one). PokerStars 0.02/0.04 Hold'em (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver) Preflop: Hero is MP2 with Q, A. 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero raises, 3 folds, SB =Villain/ calls, 1 fold, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls. Flop: (9 SB) 6, A, 7 (4 players) Villain bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls,Hero raises, Villain 3-bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 calls, Hero calls. Turn: (10.50 BB) J (4 players) Villain bets, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, Hero calls. River: (13.50 BB) 6 (3 players) Villain bets, UTG+1 folds, Hero calls. Final Pot: 15.50 BB As always any comments are much appreciated. Edit: cleaned up html. |

Please edit your post. Choose 2+2 format. Didn't you see that it looked ugly in the post preview? This is what previews are for.

I would call the river. figure he flops a set, but could have A7, which you now beat.

Re: What to do with aggresive villain on relatively empty board?
well you are very likely toasted. I can't usually fold TP in these situations, esp here you are getting a lot of overlay. Villain probably had 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] lol.
