Flop games in HORSE/HOSE? Play more like full ring or 6-max?

Been playing 8-handed HORSE quite a bit and have determined my weaknesses are the flop games...which is to say that I'm probably just running good in the stud games.

At any rate, I'd like to play LHE and LO8 individually to get a little better and was wondering if I should play full ring or 6-max.

Fyi, I play HORSE limits from 2/4 up to 8/16 depending on the players at the table just in case the answer is "depends on the limit."

My thoughts are that the higher you go limit-wise, the more like 6-max the games would become. Correct, or no?
