Usually on hands like this, I puss out and call on the river. After the hand, I remind myself to cap unless the board is double paired (I mean when I have a boat, not with just a set).

In the case of my last hand, my flopd boat beat his Q7 on a 776 flop. He was happy to cap on each street, and I was nervous as the hand went that he was holding 76, (or 74 on the turn).

I figure that in the current hand you are really only afraid of KK, since anyohter holding would be preposterous. Plus many of us will cap a K73 flop with AK, adn the turn with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Kx.

So I would hope I put the rest of the bets in, and cringe if he had KK.

I'm fine with everything up to, and including the river donk. CO has gassed it the whole way postflop even when the flush hits and then when the board pairs. I think this fits 77 a lot since KK raises preflop, and I'm not sure if he is 3-betting flush draws on the flop, and I don't know if Kx such as K7 slows down somewhere. Capping the river might be best, but I'm ok with just calling the river raise.

I'd raise the turn.

Huge pot and nobody has to have a flush/straight yet. If they do you still have a lot of equity. Raising may get somebody to fold a moderate heart or a gutshot.

And as others have read 3bet the river.

I agree with all of this. Also, a c/r is almost guaranteed to work on the river so you should check if you are that sure he has a flush and not willing to 3bet a river raise.

Thanks for comments guys, only thing i was afraid of at the time was 77 like someone said. KK would have raised pre flop. yeah I probably still should have maxed river too

but as it turned out, CO had K6
