Default Calling a flop raise too much...is this a leak?

I have gotten into the habit of calling a raise on the flop with one or two overcards (maybe too often).

What kind of odds should I be looking for against a typical/non-lag player ?
(assume the flop is nothing special)

Is there meta-game value in calling the raise?

You really need to post a hand that exemplifies this question. It's just too general. Sometimes it's correct to call and sometimes it isn't depending on the board or the opponent. There is some limited meta-game value in not being seen frequently folding, but it's not a decisive factor.
