.5/1 Fire again with no reads?
I've played zero hands since I've sat down for about 2 orbits. 1-tabling while reading the news so I can't play every hand.
No stats. I thought his bet was begging to get to the next card cheaply. Action on turn? Is flop fine? Full Tilt Poker Pot Limit Omaha Cash Game $0.50/$1 Blinds 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) SB: $118.50 Hero (BB): $98.50 UTG: $98.00 MP: $99.95 CO: $287.25 BTN: $98.10 Preflop: Hero is dealt 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, BTN calls $1.00, SB calls $0.50, Hero checks Flop: ($3) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 Players) SB bets $1.50, Hero raises to $7.50, BTN folds, SB calls $6.00 Turn: ($18) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) SB checks |

Re: .5/1 Fire again with no reads?
Lol I love your introduction to the post
I'd fire $14 on the turn. On a side note though, against a reg, it's possible you're against 8-9-x-x so that he can c-raise the turn in a pot that has now committed his stack (rather than 3-betting the flop where you can get away cheaply). If he's weak he'll call and you can obv check behind on river (betting for value would be far too thin). Fold to c-raise on turn and make a note on him |

Re: .5/1 Fire again with no reads?
i think i just check it and take a nother card.. he might be calling with T7 T6.. or the flush.. and call a rais/check on the river if a not a scary card(are almost the hole deck) hits...

Re: .5/1 Fire again with no reads?
Well there is no flush and T7 and T6 are not that likely imho. Can't come up with any good advice though, think I'd check behind.

No you should not bet and raising the flop isn't very great either.

Re: .5/1 Fire again with no reads?
This is a spot where a read would be really helpful. The problem is that the people that weak lead weak hands in this spot are also the type to call down to the river really light with as little as two pair. If you're going to fire three shells and try to move him off a set or two pair, you should probably wait until further into the session where you have an idea of how he plays. For now, you might as well just check behind and hope to improve on the river. On the bright side, you'll be up against something like T8 or a naked flush draw a decent amount and still have a chance to win unimproved.

I thought his bet was begging to get to the next card cheaply. [/ QUOTE ] A testament to the Ribbo Theorem at these levels. Flop raise is bad. fwiw I've taken villain's line with a bare 98 before hoping to c/r the turn. |
