Default What\'s your ruling here?

Sorry, this might be long....

Home poker tourney with 10 players. Part of their buyin goes into the prize pool, part is allotted to eack player as a bounty, and the remaining money is set aside into a jackpot that will be awarded to whoever knocks out the "bounty bitch" (1 player was randomly and secretly designated the "bounty bitch" before the game starts...whoever collects that players bounty wins the bounty jackpot...nobody knows who that person is until the end of the game)

Here's the situation.

plyr 1 is in the small blind
plyr 2 is in mid position
plyr 3 is on the button

plyr 3 is eliminated in the hand and player 1 and 2 both have the same hand and chop the pot with the extra chip going to player 1.

But who get's the bounty? (naturally player 3 ended up being the "bounty bitch" and all kinds of controversy erupted.

I was a poker dealer for a while, but never encountered this situation so I'm not sure about the proper ruling.

Anyone?

Well, one of the players brought up the fact that the extra chip goes to the player o.o.p., and in the past we've always given the credit for eliminating a player in a tie(even if there was no bounty) to the oop player. (Tournament Director software only allows 1 player to receive credit for eliminating another player, and points are awarded as such)

It was only a $30 jackpot...but then again that's 3x the amount that the players bought in for, so it's still important.
