pretty close hand range .. actual equity was: [/ QUOTE ] yeah i messed up. anyway if you're getting 2:1 then it's a fold given your read that SB has you beat since you're barely getting the right odds even if they both have a flush and that's the best case scenario. if you had 3:1 looks like easy call. |

Check-minraising a 4 high flush. ROFLMAO. [/ QUOTE ] i agree that if sb played it properly and raised to something like 70 or 80 id be force to call and would lose a lot more, possibly my whole stack. |

Re: Results
you realize that even if one or both of them turned up the made flush, you would still be wrong to fold?

Re: Results
I'm actually surprised at the controversy - while somewhat read dependent, the idea that one player has at least top pair and the other a made flush makes this neither an easy call nor an easy fold. And I think it leans to fold AS PLAYED.
I think it might have been BETTER to push over the top of the SB's minraise, possibly shutting out the button - though I might be wrong regarding fold equity here - a push should eliminate a top pair/draw or possibly even 2 pair here. Since it came from you, as you lead the flop, it should carry some respect I think. Eliminating any top pair/top two gives you more outs against a made flush. AB |
