Default Running bad feels good

Not a joke. It's been soooo long since I've played within my bankroll (played 1/2nl online before uigea and switched to 3/5NL live after, always on a roll of 3-8k).

I've been living off poker for a couple years but just scraping by. Well I still am, and I inevitably busted that live NL roll. So I had like 2 months of living expenses and that was it. I made a deposit online to start propping on a small site, and turned 100 into 1700 in 3 weeks. I've been running really hot and out playing the [censored] out of my opponents, plus >100% rakeback.

I've been playing .25/.50 NL, i started out short stacking now I am half stacking, and will switch to full stack soon.

Yesterday and today I have ran so so so bad. No action with Aces, an ace on every flop with resistance for my jj-kk. A number of sets cracked, not just by legitimate 8-9 outers, but gut shots left and right after the money has been all in. I lost a huge pot, 400bb when my JJ<K8 on a Kj8 flop.

But for the first time in my poker career, I DON'T CARE! I am crushing these fools, I'll get my rakeback payment at the end of the week and still be up for the week. It's so nice to have such a bad downswing yet not tilt or steam too much. I mean, I get mad and frustrated and shake my head, but I am not delirious with rage how I used to be dropping 5 buy ins when I was playing live.

I feel zen, really. I am more annoyed that I have plans for the next 2 weeks and I won't be able to get in much poker since I am still pretty poor and its been a long time since I've been like, ah lets open 6 tables of eeeeeaaaaassyyyy moniezzzzz and drink some chamomile in my underwear.

That's all.
