Re: What sports moment made you the happiest/saddest?
[ QUOTE ]
Happiest- 62-7 Jags over Dolphins in 1999 Saddest- Titans over Jags the very next week/2006 NLCS [/ QUOTE ] Remember when the sprinkler system unexpectedly went off in the 4th quarter of that game? The Dolphins were completely dejected and mailing it in and then the suddenly they are soaked by water, making them look even more pitiful. Also, brilliant move by the Dolphin management to promote their Defensive Coordinator to Head Coach after giving up 62 in a playoff game. |

It was at that moment I think the announcers started to recognize Marino's career if I remember correctly. It was the only time I remember watching Marino sulk too, not that I could blame him, that might be the worst way to go out. God...that was the best team in 1999, how did they lose to the Titans 3 times? |

Re: What sports moment made you the happiest/saddest?
Happiest: Kordell Stewart's Hail Mary pass... I will never feel that elated about one play I doubt for a long time, it was just surreal
Saddest: Many to choose from, but the combo of the Broncos not being able to just run the clock out against San Fran and Darrent Williams getting shot last year was probably the saddest 24 hours of my sportsfan days |

Re: What sports moment made you the happiest/saddest?
Very simple
Low: 1996 lose to the Noles as the #1 team & ends the perfect season High: 1996 NC revenge vs Nolies The more recent championships are highs as well but getting revenge after the most heartbreaking loss was sweet. |

Thats fine, but I don't think the Rams had much of a chance vs Jacksonville that year. That was one hell of a roster, and I still feel like they were the best team to not win a superbowl. |

[/ QUOTE ] Yes, the Rams were better than them too. The Rams were the best team in football that year. But, my "lol" was at your idea that the team that beat them 3x was somehow worse than them. |
