Default NL100: Call this river in the BB?

I was running at 14/9 ish over 100 hands or so, villain at 33/1/1. Wasnt really sure where I was after turn check and villains bet, should I have raised him and folded to further aggresion, and do I call the river bet?

Turbocalls a weak river bet after a weaker turn bet? From villains standpoint looks like you donk-stabbed the paired board pot, got called, and now are weak. If you had anything, especially a K, you'd bet the river oop. He's trying to buy it on the cheap, if he was vbetting he'd bet more here as you're either calling or not; looks like you have 7x and don't want to pay up.

This is really weird. This looks like a king with a better kicker that's betting smallish to keep you in and lose the minimum if you're here with 22/77/88. Nothing else makes much sense to me. Pairs between 99 and QQ would probably check behind on either and I think 77 would be betting more. (especially after you called the turn) Just my .02.

I hate the flop lead. As played call because most NL100 players are idiots and are betting lots of pairs or bluffs here.

Same, with a better kicked I don't mind leading the flop, but sometimes it is good to slowplay weak trips. It gives players a chance to bet their pocket pairs and catch a pair on a later street and it also keeps the pot small against better trips and full houses.

Why is the flop lead so bad? I am not saying it isnt, just curious about the reasoning?
