1% of the population and dominating the forums. Kind of puts some things in perspective, though I would seriously like to see Aaron's test, if he isn't ISTJ then there is something wrong with the test. I think it clearly explains why Aaron's posts are so good on these boards because he counters the intuition so many of us rely on. [/ QUOTE ] In a Myers-Briggs, intuition does not mean intuition as we would traditionally use it. Normally, intuition would mean something you "just know." If you think it's going to rain tomorrow, and it does, that's intuition. That's not what we're talking about here. If Aaron is indeed an S (sensing), Aaron receives information literally and concretely from his senses. If he can hear it, touch it, or see it, it is real to him. If Aaron is walking through the mall and sees a 300 pound girl, he is going to say "wow, she's fat." The N (intuition) person he's walking with is going to reply "that's nothing, you should have seen the woman I saw at Shoney's last night." The intuition is going to observe based on previous experiences, whereas the sensing person observes in a binary "it is or it isn't" state. |

Forum Name: Sigurd
Real Name: Jakob Sex: M Age: 20 Job: Voulentarily unemployed/professional poker player (I'm in the early stages of traveling the world or something like that) Education level: Something not entirely unlike high school. Living arrangement: Something not entirely unlike a collective, but not entirely like it either. Other hobbies: Sleeping, writing, eating and showering. There has been whispers that I also enjoy various sports and reading. Something about you that continually surprises people when they hear it: I have run for mayor, and play bagpipe (I'm not good at it, but I'm good at entertaining with it). Also, the sencente "well, technically I'm a proffesional poker player" seems to make 50% of the ones I tell it go "huh?" and the other 50% go "huh?" and then assume that I'm some kind of idiot and will loose all my money tomorrow. Where you want to be in 5 years: On my way to get some kind of college degree, if I'm not, I will assume that I got silly rich through some pyramid scheme, or from selling sand in Sahara, and simply don't have the time to bother with things such as higher education. I definately won't be playing poker for a living. Myers-Briggs Personality:INFJ |
