Re: rich ppl...better looking?
People that are better looking make more money on average. Also, people who are good looking will often have positive traits assigned to them at a much higher rate (i.e. intelligence, compassion) than an uglier person.

Re: rich ppl...better looking?
women like money. men like hot women. therefore, rich men can attract the hottest women (for the most part). the two, when combined for generation after generation, will eventually start to produce better and better looking offspring. these rich kids will eventually go on to become rich adults and repeat the cycle again. the boys will seek out hot women and the girls will seek out rich (preferably attractive, since the girl already has family wealth) men.
... or something like that. |

Maby they have better plastic surgeons. [/ QUOTE ] Ding Ding Ding!! We have a winner!!! Good grooming, better clothes, better hairstyles/makeup, plus plastic surgery. Think about random celebrity photos where the beautiful people come out looking very average because they didn't spend the effort that morning. |

Re: rich ppl...better looking?
[ QUOTE ]
For Mother's Day, my wife & I took my MIL to brunch at a nice local public golf course clubhouse. I'm not a golfer and the restaurant in the clubhouse was definitely fancier than places my wife & I normally go (regular places like The Keg or Cheesecake Factory, etc) Anyways I noticed that, it really seemed to me like the people at this golf course were noticably better-looking than people in my everyday walk of life. Everyone is well-dressed, well groomed & generally within social norms for being "attractive" I think partially it's because, the rich have $$ to spend on primping themselves and then I had a more convoluted theory of: rich guy marries trophy wife, produces attractive rich offspring. Offspring finds equivalent spouse, etc etc... Has anyone else ever noticed this? [/ QUOTE ] Is there a Nobel prize for biology? You, sir, are a genius. |

You'd think that he could spend 0.0000000001% of his net worth for a decent haircut. |
