rich ppl...better looking?

For Mother's Day, my wife & I took my MIL to brunch at a nice local public golf course clubhouse. I'm not a golfer and the restaurant in the clubhouse was definitely fancier than places my wife & I normally go (regular places like The Keg or Cheesecake Factory, etc)

Anyways I noticed that, it really seemed to me like the people at this golf course were noticably better-looking than people in my everyday walk of life. Everyone is well-dressed, well groomed & generally within social norms for being "attractive"

I think partially it's because, the rich have $$ to spend on primping themselves and then I had a more convoluted theory of:
rich guy marries trophy wife, produces attractive rich offspring. Offspring finds equivalent spouse, etc etc...

Has anyone else ever noticed this?

While you're theory might have some merit, what you said here also helps. Every guy looks better in a suit. Well-dressed and well-groomed are not mutually exclusive from being attractive. It helps a lot.

Isn't this sort of like race horse breeding? If it worked the children of rich people over 10 generations would all be 10 ft. tall and beautiful with IQ's of 300. Instead their children are the same like everybody else's. They'll get better care but that's it. A genius is just as likely to come out of the ghetto.

Although, come to think of it, all of the women in Greenwhich, CT do look the same.
